| Shame the Divans Road car dump was closed up a year or two back, R2. A wealth of spares and some good steel for panel repairs and the like. A mate rescued a early 50's Dodge, a Kingsway?, out of there one time. Restored it. Good old car. |

It is all so far away now.

Its a huge weekend down here R2. Events all over the show. I even thought about bustin out the KX500 to do the gravel hill climb. But the rear tyre is shot and I cant afford another at this stage.
Some of the guys you mentioned are still here and will most likely be there. Some have gone to the big race track in the clouds, sorry to say. Mitch Parks died a few years back and Neil McGregor, who worked for mitch at the boat shop also died a year or so later. Couple of top guys. Mates of the Old Mans. Town & County Club boys. |

I thankyou for this.
I remember Ivan Boorer was good on the two stroke.
Many names of people I know in there. I was at Appleby"s farm Leseley was a sweety went swimming in the resavoir and we drank the water. I guss I've been arround a while.
I went to school with Ron Moore and his sister Val. I met Val again a couple of years ago after not see her for 50 years damn it she looked 40.
Ron has written to me in the last few yer.
Brry Briggs I remember well. I got an EMAL from Ivan Magor a couple of years ago.
So Mitch & Neil are not with us!
I worked with Les.Pateman who held some beach records on his Excellseor Maximuim
The sign writer mr.Glovor rode belt drive douglas in the 1950s.
